We are called the “330 Worship Ministry” after what the Scripture says in John 3:30: “He must increase, but I must decrease.” It is our desire as a ministry to see more of Christ and less of us. Worship is a response to the revelation of God and 330 desires to lead people in a lifestyle of passionately following Christ. At Friendship we exist to reach out to the community around us while reaching in to become more like Christ. The 330 Worship Ministry assists in that cause.
Lead Worshipers These are the vocalists that lead worship during the Sunday morning Celebration service. This team has a limited number of team members for maximum impact of consistent leadership for our church. This team sets the temperature for the worship environment at Friendship.
Worship Band The Friendship Worship Band is comprised of rhythm section instrumentalists that help lead worship for Friendship’s Sunday morning Celebration service. The musical style that we replicate is one that will reach our community and church in a relevant way.
Friendship Vocal Team This team is compiled of about 8 to 10 adults who sing for special occasion services. Music style varies a bit here from what you normally hear on Sunday mornings here at Friendship. The Vocal Team is designed to enhance services only a handful of times per year.
FOH (Front of House) Team This team is responsible for the production of our services here at Friendship. Everything from the operating the soundboard to running cables; operating the projection screen to checking batteries. This team puts in a lot of hard work every week and is a vital aspect of our church. Friendship School of Music The Friendship School of Music exists to train up Christian musicians in our church and community. We at Friendship believe that in order to carry out an effective ministry we need to be continually equipping others. We also believe that we should impact our surrounding community in such a way that if we no longer existed, the community would notice and care.
330 Values
CHARACTER The 330 Worship Ministry holds character over talent. We believe that the effectiveness of ministry is highly determined by the level of character. Talent is secondary in order of priority at 330.
PASSION We are passionate about our relationship with Christ and want to lead others to have that same passion. Passionate worshippers are the core of the 330 ministry.
COMMITMENT The importance of leading God’s people in worship is why we must strive to demonstrate a faithful commitment to our Lord, the 330 team, and the body of Christ at Friendship.
